Home Made Pretzels (Romanian ones) /Christmas Edition

Hello dear ones, during this period we will see each other more and more often because I want to share some Christmas recipes with you and I hope with all my heart that you will like them and try them.   Today we will make a kind of Pretzel, a traditional one in Romania. The recipe that my mother made for me as a child and that she still makes today every Christmas. It is an extremely simple and quick recipe, we do not leave the dough to rise, so we finish the whole thing in a maximum of 30 minutes.   Here is the filmed recipe, and below I give you all the details.   For 5 trays of Pretzels we will need: 300 g of salted cheese 150 g of butter 200 g of yogurt an egg flour (at least 500 grams of flour) Grease them with a beaten egg Garnish with cumin / sesame / poppy seeds     All we have to do is put the aforementioned ingredients in a bowl and mix them, knead the dough until all the ingredients are incorporated. Then we cut it into pieces so we can spread the sheet, make the sticks, grease them with egg, decorate them as you like. Bake for 10-12 minutes at 180 degrees. Then we enjoy them!   So simple!   If you liked the recipe, I invite you to subscribe to my Youtube channel.       Merry Christmas!   With love,   Cezara  ...

Layered polenta with cheese

Hello dear ones, I'm glad to see you again this week at Wednesday's Recipe. I propose a recipe that I am convinced will be loved by everyone: Princely polenta, a combination of flavors and tastes. What could be better than a layered polenta with cheese and eggs? Here is the filmed recipe, and below I give you all the details.   For 4 servings we will need 250 grams of Corn Flour 1l of milk 200 g of cream 100 g butter 250 g of cheese 100 g of cheese 4 eggs a pinch of salt parsley for garnish   First, we boil the milk, when the milk boils we add the cream, then the corn Flour. Cook for 20 minutes, stirring constantly. After boiling the polenta, put half the amount in a tray, preferably round, put a layer of butter and cheese. We put the other half of the polenta, we make 4 recesses where the eggs will come from. Put the cheese and bake for 20 minutes at 200 degrees. Oat Meal/ Porrige ( Delicious Breakfast Idea)

Hello dear ones, I'm glad to see you again at "Wednesday's Recipe". This week I want to have a breakfast together that is extremely dear to me: Porrige . I ate this breakfast almost every day for 5 years, primarily because I love it, it is extremely delicious and secondly because it is prepared quickly (you can make it the night before) and it's super nutritious and keeps you full for a long time. I'm sure you've heard of the benefits of bran, but I'll give you more details in the video.   We will need: A glass of milk (the kind of milk you like, I used almonds) A glass of oat  (depending on what kind of texture you want to get, it's just like semolina or polenta) These two are the basic ingredients, then we start with what we like: Flax seeds Honey Bananas, strawberries (to decorate) A handful of nuts (I used Romanian nuts)   First. we put the milk in a pot on the fire, we add the bran and we mix until they start to swell, we put the flax or chia seeds and we keep mixing. We have to be patient until it starts to boil and swell. Then I'm ready! We put them in a bowl, we put a teaspoon of honey after they have cooled, we decorate with what fruits we want to eat, we put a handful of nuts to make them more filling and that's about it!   Simple and extremely delicious! If you liked the recipe, I invite you to...

One day in Split, Croatia./ Vacation during Covid-19.

Holiday in Covid -19 period?   Yes, it's possible! If you get information from official sources you can find places to go without any problems. That's how we came to choose Croatia, more precisely Dubrovnik. On our way to our final destination we made a stop in Split. Below you have a video with images and details about our route and what we managed to see in the stop of one night and one day. And below I give you all the details. We drove to Dubrovnik in Bucharest. At 4:30 in the morning we left for the road, we made about 6 hours to the customs in Nădlac, where we entered Hungary. (We chose to go through Hungary because one of us did not have a passport and we did not risk going to Serbia and Bosnia to return). I stayed at customs for about 20 minutes. We did not have any completed statement, we only had proof of accommodation, but no one asked us for it. I presented the ID and entered Hungary. We transited Hungary in 4 hours, at the customs to Croatia we waited up to 30 minutes and we entered only with the ID and we were asked what the final destination is.   Around 20:00 we arrived in Split. Basically, we traveled 14 hours from Bucharest to Split. The road through Hungary is very good, I paid the vignette 44 lei for 5 days. (this was the minimum). In Croatia we also enjoyed the highway, so the road passed much easier. The highway...
