A Huge breath of air in the Sequoia National Park

This week we are going to a unique place in the world. We reach the Sequoia National Park that is in the southern part of Sierra Nevada mountain range in California. It was set up in 1890 to protect the sequoia forest massifs who were threatened with destruction. If you are on the West Coast of USA you can't miss the giants of the world.   This gigantic forest leaves you speechless. When you walk through there incredibly large trees you feel small, but in a good way. The landscape is like a dream! When you look up to the sky among tree branches you feel like you're hypnotized. It attracts over a million visitors each year. This dramatic landscape testifies to nature's size, beauty, and diversity--huge mountains, rugged foothills, deep canyons, vast caverns, and the world's largest trees. Sounds great! These things are just unbelievable and we were excited to be spending a whole day exploring this amazing park! We had the chance to see a bear who was intimidated by the cameras, he sank into the forest to have a little privacy.   I've heard of immense trees but I never imagined that I would walk in a forest with such trees. Furthermore, I never understood how amazing they are until I stood before such a tree. Is an experience that makes you look as high as possible and as far as possible and that makes you want to explore, to discover, to expand your knowledge. The giant sequoia trees are the tallest trees on the earth...

Walking Through Brussels

Oh, Brussels! This week we reach the Belgian capital. A wealth of history, wonderful places and art all the way. The Baroque architecture impressed me so much, you can spend hours on the streets full of charm and discover an impressive number of statues, parks and churches. The smell of chocolate is everywhere and that's what makes every walk even more enjoyable! There are so many things to see in Brussels but fortunately it is very easy to see them step by step. I tried to put them in random order because they all worth seeing, tried and tasted! Grand Place It’s the central square of Brussels. Europe’s most beautiful square. Measuring at 68 x 110 meters, it is declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998, and even declared as Europe’s most beautiful square in 2010. Incredible surrounding architecture. The square it is dominated by the Royal House, the Town Hall and the medieval guildhalls. The most prominent structure is the towering (315 feet) City Hall built back in the Middle Ages that somehow looks like a Gothic church. The foundation stone was laid in the spring of 1402 and was completed in 1450 when a statue of St. Michael defeating a Dragon was put on the top of the tower. The original statue remained on the top until June 1996 when it was replaced with a new one. The legend says that the architect suicides by throwing himself from the building when he found out that the...

Hollywood/Walking around Fame

When you hear Los Angeles you think about Hollywood, Walk of Fame and celebrities. My experience with L.A was overwhelming. Since I was a little girl a dreamed to have this Hollywood experience. Since I am an actress this wish became stronger. Finally, I was there and I was so pleasantly surprised. Here exists more than 90 movie theaters and 300 museums, more than any other city in America. Also, every day here are more than 100 shooting teams that are hard working for good movies and TV Series. I was so happy to be in the same place where my favorites actors and art people worked, walked and lived. It was so exciting! The "City of Angels" was initially called „El Pueblo de Nuestra Senora Reina de los Angeles sobre el Rio Porciuncula”. This is the biggest city in California and the second as number of populations in America. Los Angeles is one of the most cosmopolitan places in the world. It was always an attraction for the tourists because of his quality and the nice weather. Because of its special vibration, the industry and the life style here you feel that you can live the American Dream! Also, L.A. is known all over the world as the Capital of Creativity because one of six people living here are working in a creative industry. A study realised by USC Stevens Institute for Innovation says that in Los Angeles are living more artists, writers, directors, actors than in any other city in any time...

Grand Canion-Grand Dream

This week I invite you in a virtual trip in United States of America, in Arizona at the Grand Canyon and I hope that after this trip I’ll convince you to go there for real to see this amazing place and feel the special vibration that it has. When I am very busy and tired and the only free time that I have is the time between my rehearsals and theater I am taking energy from my memories. Memories from nice, calm and peaceful places I’ve been. Grand Canyon is one of those places. It is incredible how our affective memory is working and is recharging our battery and helps us go further. Grand Canyon is a steep-sided canyon carved by the Colorado River in Arizona. It is 277 miles (446 km) long, up to 18 miles (29 km) wide and attains a depth of over a mile (6,093 feet or 1,857 meters). Colorado River established its course through the area about 5 to 6 million years ago. Since that time, the Colorado River has driven the down-cutting of the tributaries and retreat of the cliffs, simultaneously deepening and widening the canyon. No matter how many pictures or movies with this place you’ll see nothing compares with the sensation of being there. It is a place that leaves you speechless.  Grand Canyon fills your heart with joy. That’s why it has 5 millions of tourists every year. On our way to Grand Canyon we stopped at Hoover Dam. This is a concrete arch-gravity dam in the Black Canyon of the Colorado...
