Vegetarian / Vegan Burger with Quinoa and Black Beans (with Adela Mihai – Actress)

The best vegan burger recipe.

Today I am cooking with Adela Mihai, actress, Yoga and Pilates instructor, who shared with us her favorite Burger recipe.

I guarantee you that it is absolutely delicious, it is extremely easy to prepare and it is a great option for those who do not want to eat meat, fast, want to include more vegetables in their diet or simply want to try something else.

This recipe is a vegan one, full of good ingredients for your body. I guarantee you won’t regret it if you try it.

We prepared our own burger buns according to the bagel recipe that you can already find on the YouTube channel.

For 4 Burgers we need:

  • a can of black beans
  • a cup of quinoa
  • 1/2 onion
  • 3-4 cloves of garlic
  • half a cup of breadcrumbs
  • a bunch of parsley
  • 3 tablespoons tomato broth / sauce
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil (we put 2 tablespoons in the composition, we use one for frying)

 

Seasonings:

  • a teaspoon of paprika,
  • a teaspoon of smoked paprika
  • a teaspoon of garlic powder
  • a teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • a teaspoon of red pepper (or less, to taste)
  • salt to taste

For assembly we use:

  • Avocado
  • Spinach
  • Tomatoes

If you want to make your own buns (2 buns)

  • a cup of flour
  • 3 tablespoons yogurt
  • a teaspoon of baking powder
  • one egg
  • seeds for decoration

 

First we wash the quinoa and boil it. To a cup of quinoa we put 2 cups of water. Let it boil for 15-20 minutes.

In the meantime, we have prepared the bread for the burgers, I will not detail it here because you already have it.

I put the black beans, onion, garlic, parsley, olive oil and spices in the blender.

Mix this pasta with the breadcrumbs, tomato sauce and boiled quinoa.

Form the burgers and bake / fry them in the pan. Leave them on each side for 3-4 minutes, until golden brown.

We are preparing for assembly. We cut the buns in half. We make the avocado paste with a little salt and pepper.

Arrange the burger to taste and enjoy.
