Malta. More than I could ever tell

The experience in Malta was a complete one.  I can't wait to share everything with you.  This trip was so great because we were there to shoot a commercial for Visit Malta.  You can imagine we had some of the best experiences on the island and the best part is that you too can have the same amazing experiences if you read this article. Malta is an island full of history, a place that surprises you every step of the way and gives you a sense of euphoria, crystal clear water, the sun and all the positive vibe that surrounds you! We were there in December, although we had a week to explore, we still had to discover many places.  We enjoyed temperatures of 15-18 degrees and sun, but we also had wind and clouds, but that did not matter. I definitely want to get back to Malta in the warmer season to enjoy the beach and scuba diving (after Thailand, I understand that Malta is one of the best places for that).  But beware, in the summer months it is very hot. December in Malta.  I was surprised to see how many tourists were at that time, the streets were full of people thirsty to discover the surroundings.  I thought that Malta's strengths are beaches and water, but I was pleasantly surprised to find out how much to do outside of the hot season.  Malta can offer you so much, from golden sandy beaches, history, Cirque du Soleil shows or all kinds...

Athens. The place where I felt like a Goddess

Athens.  The place where I felt like a goddess. I warn you that it is an article with many photos!  There were so many wonderful things to see and remember there that I couldn't stop taking pictures.   Greece is always a good idea!  That was proven to me again.  I went to Athens at the end of February;  This city has a very positive vibe, the people are relaxed, the Greeks takes care to make your stay as pleasant as possible.  I would never get bored of walking on their streets, admiring the greenery and trees full of oranges, looking at the Acropolis or the blue sea, eating olives.   We stayed for 3 nights in Athens,  in the Monastiraki neighborhood, at the Athens Luxury Mansion, a very nice Boutique hotel with a story rooftop, where we served breakfast.  What a great place to start your day!  Staying there meant being close to everything we wanted to see, we were, basically, 7 minutes away from Monastiraki Square (where there was a subway station), 10 minutes to Acropolis and so on.  We are right in the historical center.   We came by plane, from the airport I took the subway to the Hotel.  The price of a subway ticket from airport to center is 10 euros and the journey time was 40 minutes. As I said earlier, Athens offers you a very special energy, a good contagious disposition, in a cool way.  I will tell you what I saw, what we ate and why we enjoyed it.   1.First...

One day in Split, Croatia./ Vacation during Covid-19.

Holiday in Covid -19 period?   Yes, it's possible! If you get information from official sources you can find places to go without any problems. That's how we came to choose Croatia, more precisely Dubrovnik. On our way to our final destination we made a stop in Split. Below you have a video with images and details about our route and what we managed to see in the stop of one night and one day. And below I give you all the details. We drove to Dubrovnik in Bucharest. At 4:30 in the morning we left for the road, we made about 6 hours to the customs in Nădlac, where we entered Hungary. (We chose to go through Hungary because one of us did not have a passport and we did not risk going to Serbia and Bosnia to return). I stayed at customs for about 20 minutes. We did not have any completed statement, we only had proof of accommodation, but no one asked us for it. I presented the ID and entered Hungary. We transited Hungary in 4 hours, at the customs to Croatia we waited up to 30 minutes and we entered only with the ID and we were asked what the final destination is.   Around 20:00 we arrived in Split. Basically, we traveled 14 hours from Bucharest to Split. The road through Hungary is very good, I paid the vignette 44 lei for 5 days. (this was the minimum). In Croatia we also enjoyed the highway, so the road passed much easier. The highway...

Juliet for a day/ Walking around Verona

Verona is the dream city! It is the third largest in northeast Italy and it represents one of the main attractions of this amazing country. William Shakespeare has contributed to its fame by placing the action of one of the most important love stories from our universal literature here."Romeo and Juliet" love story happened in Verona, and that's why milions of tourists are coming every day to visit it, because they want to feel and the see the place of pure love. Verona is like an open space museum because you find roman vestiges at each step. The patterns of the renaissance style are everywhere, the beautiful gardens and the large windows will make you fall in love with this city. The architecture of the buildings introduces you in long gone times. Just amazing! It was such a pleasure to visit it. I can't not to mention that I love Italy! I think that every time it has something special to offer to me from all points of view. We had just one day in Verona. Oh, how much I wished for more. I know that there are a lot of extraordinary places that missed, but here is what we saw and it was wonderful.  Adige River. This river crosses Verona. In the past it used to be a very important point pf communication, today it is a very significant tourists’ attraction because you can enjoy a boat ride along this river. Just another charming perspective of the city. The course river crosses...
